Why does this even matter?

Why even care about finding your 'perfect audience or viewer'?

Content creation is just... making content, right? Just turning on the camera and waiting for people to show up? Right? Unfortunately, content creation platforms have become incredibly competitive. In order to gain an edge in a competitive marketplace, the stuff you make needs to resonate with people at a higher level. Your content needs to make people feel seen and give them value. But most creators make a critical mistake here: they think their content is for everyone. The average creator thinks any +1 to their viewership is a good thing. Your goal as a creator is not to get views from anyone. Your goal is to get views from the right people and to build content with those specific people in mind. This gives you an edge over everyone else just showing up and hoping their work takes off.

In this Module we'll discuss how to identify who this group of people is so you can create stuff that they love and grow more awareness of what you do.
